B. A. L. Mission Statement

Bikers Against Lupus (BAL)^©, our organization is committed to serving the Lupus community. We provide Educational support to individuals and families affected by lupus and in addition, support research programs related to the diagnosis, treatment and cure of this devastating disease.

We are a Non Profit group that is non-bias, nonpolitical, and confidential. Our group consists of Independent people.

Our mission is to give a place for individuals to share experiences as a way to show they are not alone in their fight with Lupus.

Because Lupus is difficult to diagnose, unpredictable and highly individualized the Bikers Against Lupus has developed an referral service to several support groups. The support groups meet monthly and provide informative programs and personalized peer support by trained Lupus patients.

The group objective is to educate the community by increasing awareness of Lupus. Working in a group will help individuals deal with the core issues of anger, depression, unresolved grief and anxiety associated with having Lupus.

Our primary mission is to improve the quality of life of those diagnosed with lupus, raise money for medical research, and find a cure for this potentially life threatening disease.
